Dhoni's security upgraded after extortion

Dhoni has received a letter on Wednesday carrying
threat to harm his family if he does not pay up
Rs 50 lakh. However, the police said they are taking
"all precautionary measures" and that

Air India slashes fares by 35 to 80 per
cent
New
Delhi: After private airlines Jet and Kingfisher
announced a cut in their airfares, Air India on
Tuesday too slashed ticket prices following a
steep fall in fuel prices. The airline
is cutting basic fares by 35 to 81 per cent in
basic fares on 19 domestic sectors. Air India
says the lower prices will come into effect from
Tuesday, December 30. The reduction will be applicable
to all domestic sectors.

Aamir to buy residential society in Mumbai

Bollywood
actor Aamir Khan is planning to expand his
umpire. After receiving huge accolades for
his directional debut, Taare Zameen Par,
Aamir is planning to invest huge amount
to shine in the field of production too
and with this view, he has decided to buy
the a residential society in Mumbai for
his personal studio.
Talks are going on
but nothing has been finalized till now.
It is a 22-apartment complex named Vrindavan,
in Santacruz and Aamir has agreed to buy
the society for Rs. 33 crore i.e, Rs 1.5
crore for each flat. But some interested
developers are also eyeing the property.
Aamir Khan Productions has approached the
owner six months from now but the deal is
yet to be finalized.
About Aamir Khan’s
plan the Real Estate Agent, Subhash Kumar
said, "Maybe he is planning a studio,
we don't know. What we know is that he is
interested in the society."
