Air India slashes fares by 35 to 80 per cent

New Delhi: After private airlines Jet and Kingfisher announced a cut in their airfares, Air India on Tuesday too slashed ticket prices following a steep fall in fuel prices. The airline is cutting basic fares by 35 to 81 per cent in basic fares on 19 domestic sectors. Air India says the lower prices will come into effect from Tuesday, December 30. The reduction will be applicable to all domestic sectors.

Aamir wishes Salman on his birthday



Perfectionist Aamir Khan is basking in joy for his latest hit Ghajini. Ghajini is receiving huge response from all over and he is overwhelmed to get such rave reviews. "Liking the love story and the action, I am very happy with the response," says Aamir. Talking about Ghajini look at a radio station in Mumbai, he took the honor to wish his good buddy Salman Khan on his 43rd birthday.

"Many many happy returns of the day and always be happy and safe," wishes Aamir to Salman. Taare Zameen Par also brings smile to Aamir’s face. The film bagged the best film trophy at the V Shantaram National Awards ceremony held on Friday evening in Mumbai. Child artist Darsheel Safary walked away with the best actor award thereby beating Hrithik Roshan and Kamal Hassan.

"I was not there but I am very happy to have received the honor," said Aamir. Next he will be seen in Rajkumar Hirani’s 3 Idiots which is based on Chetan Bhagat’s famous novel Five Point someone. He is paired with Kareena Kapoor.
