Not so long ago, when he was still an unknown entity, Rahul Mahajan was a television producer for Doordarshan but the spotlight turned on him, in May 2006 when he lost his father to an alleged fratricide and even before that faded in public memory, came another shocker.

1984 Sikh carnage was wrong: Rahul
Amritsar, November 18 Congress general secretary Rahul Gandhi condemned the anti-Sikh violence in the aftermath of Indira Gandhi’s assassination, saying “whatever happened was wrong”.

FM calls for price cuts, CEOs divided
NEW DELHI: Finance minister P Chidambaram on Tuesday called on sectors like housing, automobiles, hotels and airlines to cut prices to boost demand
and beat the slowdown.

RSS, Bajrang Dal are not terrorist groups: British government

London, Nov 19: The British government has said that neither the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) nor the Bajrang Dal are terrorist organisations and their members are not banned from entering Britain.
"The government do not consider the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh or the Bajrang Dal as terrorist organisations," British Minister of State for the Foreign and Commonwealth Office Lord Malloch-Brown told the House of Lords.

London: One of the Glasgow bombing accused has blamed India-born Kafeel Ahmed solely for the attack. MIAAC and the IAAC celebrate the Eighth Film Festival

New York – Both the Mahindra Indo-American Arts Council and the Indo-American Arts Council recently celebrated a joint collaboration of a week long film festival in New York. The films were screened at various theatres across the city including the prestigious Lincoln Center, Tribeca Cinemas, Museum of Arts and Design and the ImaginAsian theatre.
